Since 2007, Maya Dance Theatre (MDT) has been using dance to tell the stories that matter - creating socially conscious, multi-disciplinary work that provokes conversation and drives change.
Their programme The Body In-Motion (BIM), with the Diverse Abilities Dance Collective, reimagines what healthy ageing can look like. Seniors, older volunteers, and diverse-abilities dancers come together through movement, storytelling, and music — building connection and wellbeing across communities and care settings in Singapore. Designed by occupational therapist Kavitha Krishnan, BIM is inclusive, culturally grounded arts practice in action.
