2026-2028 Singapore
A National Call for Arts & Mental Health Innovation
Become part of a transformative Singapore imitative that will support projects in the Arts and Health space, across one or more of the following sectors: Culture, Healthcare and Community settings.
As part of the Jameel Arts & Health Lab’s global Healing Arts campaign produced in collaboration with the World Health Organization, Healing Arts Singapore is co-led by the National University of Singapore’s Centre for Music and Health at the Yong Siew Toh Conservatory of Music, and Nanyang Academy of Fine Arts, University of the Arts Singapore. Healing Arts Singapore is supported by Temasek Foundation, Community Jameel, Community Foundation Singapore and ECCA Family Foundation among others.
The Healing Arts Singapore Pilot Projects form the key delivery component of a multi-year strategy (2025–2028) which aims to identify models with potential to strengthen mental well-being, reduce health inequalities, and inspire policy uptake.
Projects will provide an opportunity to evaluate impact together with local and international delivery and research partners. At a time of rising mental health challenges and social isolation, these pilot projects will contribute to the strategy for future scalability of arts and health interventions and position creativity as a catalyst for healthcare and public health system innovation.
Launching in May 2026 and running until to Dec 2028, the pilots will embed creative practice into healthcare, community, and cultural settings. Each project will be rigorously evaluated to generate evidence that can inform national, regional, and global policy. Support from partners represents a catalytic investment in Singapore’s national healthcare systems.
