A Ray of Sunshine is a community engagement programme conceptualised by Esplanade, for families with children who are chronically ill or receiving paediatric palliative care. Comprising a one-hour by-invite only performance followed by post-show activities, the programme aims to bring joy, courage and hope to these children amidst their health challenges through music, while providing a space for families to be able to spend quality time together through the arts, in an exclusive setting.
Over the past two editions, families have shared how meaningful it was to be in a safe and supportive arts environment where they found moments of respite and solidarity with others walking in a similar journey.
